Billabong Retreat Cook Amara shares her delicious Tahini Cookie recipe. This recipe is gluten, dairy and refined sugar free. It is also fast and easy to make and baked using only 6 ingredients.

The star ingredient, Tahini, is incredibly nutritious. Tahini spread is made from toasted, ground sesame seeds which are full of healthy fats, vitamins, and minerals.


Healthy Tahini Cookies (GF, DF, SF)

Makes 12


2 cups Almond Flour

½ cup Hulled Tahini 

¼ cup Maple

1 tsp Tapioca Flour 

½ tsp salt

½ tsp sesame seeds



Preheat the oven to 200°C.

Mix all the dry ingredients together in a medium size bowl. Combine the wet ingredients and mix further to make a dough.

Roll the dough into 12 small cookie balls.

Place on a baking tray and press flat with enough space in between each cookie.

Bake at 200°C for approximately 25 minutes or until the surface turns golden.

Allow to cool and then garnish with sesame seeds.
