Ingredients

Serves 4

  • ½ Cup Chia Seeds
  • 500ml Almond Milk (Liquid of your choice)
  • 2 Green Apples
  • 2 Cinnamon Sticks
  • 1 Star Anise
  • 2 cloves
  • Water

Method

  • Soak Chia seeds in a bowl with 500ml of Almond Milk and stir with a whisk. Let sit for 5 minutes and give it another good whisk.  Chia seeds will take around 20 minutes to soak up the liquid and be ready to eat.
  • Peel green apples and dice them into cubes.  Place into a pot with enough water to just cover the apples.  Place the cinnamon sticks, star anise and cloves into the water.  Bring to a boil and reduce heat to a simmer for all flavours to infuse and not overcook the apples.
  • Add cooked apples into the chia mix and give it a good stir.  Decorate and serve.

Enjoy on its own or great with your favourite granola for that added crunch.
