Meditation is both an ancient art and a modern science that allows us to gradually train our mind to experience more peace and contentment. It involves training the part of the brain that can pay attention, emotionally regulate and manage the multitude of sensory inputs.
Our Meditation Essentials program is suitable for all levels and experience, those looking for a refresher, as well as those looking to deepen their practice.
The retreat includes daily yoga classes (also known as moving meditation), alternate evening meditations plus special workshops each day exploring the types of meditation, its history and lots of tips about how to make meditation easy and establish a regular practice.
For a longer stay at Billabong Retreat you can combine a Meditation Essentials program with another retreat program.

Our programs include daily yoga classes, alternate evening meditation and daily workshops exploring yoga philosophy, meditation techniques, mindfulness, stress relief or self care. They are optional to attend. Combine two programs for a longer stay.
