All our roles are based at our retreat centre in Maraylya 2765. Our preference is for staff local to the retreat.

We are looking for a reliable, friendly and fit housekeeper to provide a high level of cleaning throughout the retreat.

Jobs include:

  • Making beds
  • Cleaning cabins & public areas
  • Assisting with packing and unpacking of linen

Availability:

The position is for 4-5 hours on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and/or Friday.

Due to the landscape of the property we require someone who is fit and able to carry equipment & linen around the estate as needed. Own transport required as there is very limited public transport in the area. No experience necessary, if you have a high attention to detail and can clean to a high standard in a set time frame then please apply.

We are seeking reliable and experienced Massage and Beauty Therapists with an ABN who reside in or near the Hills District.

This contractor role offers flexible hours, although availability on Saturday’s is essential.

If you are passionate about improving the wellbeing of others and thrive in a welcoming and supportive environment, we’d love to hear from you.

We are looking for motivated, mature, and professional therapists who are skilled at delivering exceptional treatments while providing a nurturing experience for our guests. You should be able to perform 3 or more treatments back-to-back and demonstrate outstanding presentation and politeness.

We have an ongoing volunteer program where you can come and stay for free for a minimum of four-weeks in exchange for up to 6 hours work per day, 6 days per week helping out in the kitchen and with housekeeping. You are provided with a private room in our staff house. The staff house features a shared bathroom, kitchen and lounge area. All meals, drinks and snacks are provided as well as access to the yoga, meditation and mindfulness classes when not working.

About the Role
We’re looking for a warm, steady and well-presented person to join our Reception team. You’ll be one of the first points of contact for our guests, helping them feel welcomed, informed and at ease.

This role suits someone who enjoys holding a calm front-of-house presence while managing simple administrative tasks.

We need Friday, Saturday and Sunday covered, and shifts may be filled by one person or shared between two, depending on availability.

Core Responsibilities
Welcome guests and manage check-ins and check-outs
Assist with enquiries, provide clear information and escalate concerns when needed
Manage calls, emails, payments and messages
Support simple front-desk admin tasks
Keep the reception area tidy, calm and professional
Assist the wider team when required (e.g., shop sales, schedules, guest queries)

Skills & Attributes
Experience in reception or guest service roles
Calm, clear and caring communicator
Comfortable using Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets)
Organised and reliable, with good problem-solving skills
Ideally lives within 30 minutes of the retreat
Award Classification

Permanent Part-Time

We’re looking for a calm, capable and hands-on Retreat Assistant to support our team across several departments.

This role suits someone who enjoys variety, teamwork and helping create a peaceful, well-cared-for environment for our guests.

About the Role
You’ll step in where needed across housekeeping and kitchen teams to help keep the retreat running smoothly each day along with office administration shifts.

Core Responsibilities
Assist the kitchen with food prep, dishwashing and meal service
Help keep retreat spaces clean, calm and welcoming (bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas)
Respond to guest needs with warmth and presence
Work closely with the team to support a smooth, mindful retreat experience

Hours
25–35 hours per week
Possible split shifts depending on retreat needs
Weekend work required as part of the roster

Physical Requirements
This is a medium–high energy role involving regular movement, lifting, cleaning and standing for periods of time.

Award Classification
Paid under the Hospitality Industry (General) Award – Level 2, Guest Service Grade 2.

We’re looking for a creative and health-minded Chef to support our Head Chef in delivering nourishing vegetarian & whole-food cuisine for our retreat guests.

About the Role
As part of our kitchen team, you will help prepare thoughtful, seasonal meals while contributing to the smooth running of daily kitchen operations.

This role suits someone who values wellness, calm service, and food made with intention.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and present high-quality vegetarian and wholefood dishes
Assist with menu development, ordering, stock control and cost/waste management
Uphold excellent hygiene and food-safety standards
Use fresh, seasonal and locally sourced ingredients
Support a positive, collaborative kitchen environment

About You
Experience as a Chef in a supervisory role
Passion for plant-based cuisine and nutrition
Calm, organised and team-oriented
Strong understanding of food safety and compliance
Commitment to sustainability and mindful cooking
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent) preferred
