Retreat Hosts / Yoga Teachers
We are seeking confident and energetic yoga and meditation teachers to host regular retreats at our award winning wellness retreat situated just under one hour from Sydney.
Role could be permanent part time or contractor status. Our preference is for teachers who would like to work regularly, minimum is once per four weeks but every two weeks or every week would also be considered.
Requirements:
- Confident, friendly, energetic, mature
- Reliable
- Able to hold space for all kinds guests in all kinds of situations
- Able to work minimum once every four weeks
- Minimum one year regularly teaching asana, pranayama and meditation
- Experienced in offering one on one yoga, pranayama and meditation consultations
- Experienced in designing personal practices for guests
- Experience teaching other ‘non yoga workshops’ for example breath-work, nutrition, TCM, energetics , emotional wellbeing, detoxing, mindfulness, personal development, fitness, contrast therapy
- Willing to contribute social media posts and promote the retreat

Breakfast Cook / Senior Kitchen Assistant

An opportunity exists for an experienced breakfast cook/senior kitchen assistant to become part of the permanent kitchen team at award winning Billabong Retreat

Billabong Retreat, nestled in a serene and natural environment, is seeking a Breakfast Cook / Senior Kitchen Hand to help prepare and serve breakfast to our guests as well assist our chefs with preparing lunch and dinner and other kitchen assistant duties.

Duties:
- Prepare and serve high-quality breakfasts that delight our guests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen.
- Work closely with the team to ensure a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.
- Support senior staff with kitchen duties and contribute to food prep.
- Dealing with food intolerances and dietary requirements.
- Receiving stock, assisting with ordering and packing away orders.
About You:
- Previous kitchen experience (ideally in breakfast or senior kitchen hand roles).
- Passion for creating great food in a supportive environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Kitchen Hand
Casual Position Available. We are looking for a friendly and reliable kitchen hand to join our team on a part-time or casual basis.

- General cleaning duties within the kitchen or food preparation area.

Availability
- 25 to 35 hours per week.
- Rostered hours can be between 7am and 8pm, Monday – Sunday (weekend availability desirable).

Casual Housekeeper
We are looking for a reliable, friendly and fit housekeeper to provide a high level of cleaning throughout the retreat.
Jobs include:
- Making beds
- Cleaning cabins & public areas
- Assisting with packing and unpacking of linen
Availability:
The position is for 4-5 hours on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and/or Friday.
Due to the landscape of the property we require someone who is fit and able to carry equipment & linen around the estate as needed. Own transport required as there is very limited public transport in the area. No experience necessary, if you have a high attention to detail and can clean to a high standard in a set time frame then please apply.
Spa & Massage Therapists
We are seeking reliable and experienced Massage and Beauty Therapists with an ABN who reside in or near the Hills District.
This contractor role offers flexible hours, although availability on Saturday’s is essential.
If you are passionate about improving the wellbeing of others and thrive in a welcoming and supportive environment, we’d love to hear from you.
We are looking for motivated, mature, and professional therapists who are skilled at delivering exceptional treatments while providing a nurturing experience for our guests. You should be able to perform 3 or more treatments back-to-back and demonstrate outstanding presentation and politeness.
Retreat Volunteers
We have an ongoing volunteer program where you can come and stay for free for a minimum of four-weeks in exchange for up to 6 hours work per day, 6 days per week helping out in the kitchen and with housekeeping. You are provided with a private room in our staff house. The staff house features a shared bathroom, kitchen and lounge area. All meals, drinks and snacks are provided as well as access to the yoga, meditation and mindfulness classes when not working.
