At Billabong Retreat, we love simple foods that nourish the body while supporting digestion and overall wellbeing. One of our favourites is fermented coconut yoghurt. A creamy, dairy-free alternative packed with beneficial probiotics.
Fermented foods have been enjoyed across cultures for centuries and are valued for their ability to support a healthy gut microbiome. Since so much of our immune function, digestion and even mood is connected to gut health, adding fermented foods to your diet can be a wonderful daily ritual.
This coconut yoghurt is incredibly easy to make at home with just a handful of ingredients. The natural fermentation process creates a delicious tangy flavour while introducing beneficial bacteria that help support digestive health.
