The Nourishing Chocolate Dream.


Indulge your sweet tooth the nourishing way with this rich and velvety Chocolate Avocado Mousse, a favourite at Billabong Retreat. This decadent dessert is packed with goodness — creamy avocados provide essential fatty acids to support brain and heart health, while dark chocolate delivers magnesium and powerful antioxidants. The result? A smooth, chocolatey treat that feels luxurious yet deeply nourishing. The best part is that no one will ever guess it’s made with such wholesome ingredients. It’s the perfect way to enjoy something sweet while still supporting your wellbeing.

Ingredients (serves 8)


  • 3.5 large avocados

  • 1/2 cup cacao powder

  • 1/2 cup maple syrup

  • 200ml ayam coconut cream

  • 1/2 Tbsp of vanilla extract
  • Optional add 4 drops peppermint oil or orange zest or coffee powder for extra taste

    To serve: raspberries & coconut yoghurt

    Method

  1. Combine all ingredients in food processor and blend until combined.
  2. Remove half of mixture and blend until smooth. Repeat with other half of mixture
  3. Spoon into individual dessert glasses and place in fridge for at least 30 mins
  4. Serve topped with berries and a dash of coconut yogurt/cream
